Greetings All,

I am trying to build a cluster using OSCAR 5.0 and RHEL 4 WS

All the nodes and the head node are the same:

Dell Precision 490n Dual Processor Dual Core Xeon Proc 5130 2.00GHz, 4MB
L2 Cache, 1333MHz

80GB SATA 3.0Gb/s, 7200RPM NCQHardDrive with 8MB DataBurst Cache

250GB SATA 3.0Gb/s, 7200RPM Additional NCQ HardDrive with 8MB DataBurst
Cache

I have installed OSCAR 5.0 without a problem; build the image, setup the
PXE, did the network boot with DHCP and rsync. Everything goes well
until the node reboots and tries to load the new image from its disk. I
see the RedHat GUI during Grub then I get the following dump:

Mounted /proc filesystem

Mounting sysfs

Creating /dev

Starting udev

Loading jbd.ko module

Loading ext3.ko module

Creating root device

Mounting root filesystem

Mount: error 6 mounting ext3

Mount: error 2 mounting none

Switching to new root

Switchroot: mount failed: 2

Unmount /initrd/dev failed: 2

Kernel panic ? not syncing: Attempting to kill init

It appears as that the device drivers for the SATA drives are not
loading or working......

Any assistance would be appreciated!!!

Ken Parrish
