As far as I can remember, SSHD and this option have always been required by OSCAR, it used to change the sshd config itself, but now it doesn't.
I am not entirely certain why, though I can think of several possibilities. All of OSCAR's protocols need password-less SSH to communicate to and from the head node, so if SSHD is not running things will not work. If you want to post in Spanish, theres a couple folks who can muddle it out (me) and some native speakers (I think). As for me, I will stick probably reply in English, my Spanish is rather ... questionable. Bienvenidos a OSCAR :) On 8/31/07, Erich Focht <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Joffre, > > you need to edit the file /etc/ssh/sshd_config and make sure that there is > a line there like: > > Option PermitRootLogin yes > > And make sure that you have the ssh server installed on the master node. > > Best regards, > Erich > > PS: my spanish is not good enough so if you still have questions, I hope > someone on the mailing list can help. > > On Thursday 30 August 2007 18:31, JOFFRE JEORWIN CARTUCHE wrote: > > Hi > > > > > > Checking your system... > > >Success: debrepo-check.pl > > >Success: network-check.pl > > >Success: selinux-check.pl > > >grep: /etc/ssh/sshd_config: No such file or directory > > > ---------------------------------------------- > > > /opt/oscar-5.1a1r/scripts/system-sanity.d/ssh-check.pl > > > Option PermitRootLogin in /etc/ssh/sshd_config should be 'yes' > > > Current value is '' > > > ---------------------------------------------- > > >Failure: ssh-check.pl > > >Success: su-check.pl > > >ERROR: There are basic system configuration issues (see log). > > > > > >Is SSH server a prereq now? > > > > > > > Por favor como resolvistes este problema > > Joffre cartuche c > > ecuador > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. > Still grepping through log files to find problems?
