For OSCAR purposes RHEL=CentOS.  I think there is a reasonably stable
5.1branch called "crispy".  If you check the oscar-devel archives
there are
some instructions posted there for testing that branch.

If I get around to testing it myself I will post something about it on a
wiki somewhere.
