Hi Reuben,

Whatever you want to do with your cluster, if you don't use the OSCAR(SIS) 
image, there is no point of using OSCAR, I think.

Maybe, you could still use some benefits(C3, switcher, and some well configured 
cluster packages) of OSCAR infrastructure somehow but you are losing the big 
advantage of OSCAR's cluster deployment solution.
I believe that you are well aware of the advantage of OSCAR and why don't you 
try to do one more time on any other test machine and see if the SIS image 
could be deployed and the client nodes could boot up or not.

So, Reuben, if you want to try again, please try to keep the logs of the 
"Monitor Cluster Deployment" and post it here.

All you have to do to get the logs is double click on one of the deploying 
client nodes and copy and paste the output of the SIS logs on the SIS monitor 
terminal.
