Forgive me if I tell you something you didn't already know, but I have installed Oscar 5.0 on one RHEL4 headnode and then used RHEL 4 to create the nodes. You don't need to install "oscar" on all servers... Once you go through the installation of oscar on one system, which is an existing system, oscar will then reimage the cluster nodes you define. Which, to make it easy and consistent, would then be RHEL4. But I think this can be changed to other nodes.
I am aware it's not rhel5, but you might find some commercial application you might use on this cluster to be incompatible with rhel5.
