Thank you for the advice. I've found it, along with a description on PS3 installation. However, I run into some problems I'd like to ask here.
1) OSCAR 5.1b1 for YDL 5.0 did install, the install_cluster script did run up to step 4. (There were peroblems with ganglia package at step3 so I just excluded it for now). But building the image failed with the following messages: =================== Writing package group file for client installation: /opt/oscar/tmp/Default.pgroup --> Identified distro of clients: ydl 5 --> Distro repo: file:/tftpboot/distro/yellowdog-5-ppc64 --> OSCAR repo: file:/tftpboot/oscar/ydl-5-ppc64,file:/tftpboot/oscar/common-rpms --> Using binary list: /opt/oscar/oscarsamples/ydl-5-ppc64.rpmlist 0: yellowdog-5-ppc 1: yellowdog-5-ppc64 Selection: yellowdog-5-ppc64 the new package list is: file:/tftpboot/distro/yellowdog-5-ppc64,file:/tftpboot/oscar/ydl-5-ppc64,file:/tftpboot/oscar/common-rpms Executing command: mksiimage -A --name oscarimage --location "file:/tftpboot/distro/yellowdog-5-ppc64,file:/tftpboot/oscar/ydl-5-ppc64,file:/tftpboot/oscar/common-rpms" --filename /opt/oscar/oscarsamples/ydl-5-ppc64.rpmlist --arch ppc64 --path /var/lib/systemimager/images/oscarimage --filename /opt/oscar/tmp/Default.pgroup PackMan::RPM=HASH(0x107999c4) does not understand PackMan::RPM::check_installed Image build finished. How does one, if it is possible at all, speify this PPC PReP thing with OSCAR disk layout files? -- WBR, Grigory Shamov Michael Edwards ?????: > Do a search on the devel list for the "crunchy" branch installation > instructions. > > One of these days someone will post them somewhere more sensible. > > On Mon, Mar 3, 2008 at 1:25 AM, Grigory Shamov <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> Dear All, >> >> Could someone advice me, whether it is possible to use OSCAR to setup an >> IBM pSeries cluster?
