Hello all, I am about to choose the OSCAR server, we have nine servers [serv1-9] (that we regularly use for benchmarks) and another machine [store] that we use for data storage.
I started installing OSCAR using serv1 as the OSCAR server. One question that came up is if the fact that serv1 becomes the OSCAR server will be a bottleneck to the point of making serv1 useless for benchmarking (I am assuming you can register an oscar server as a client of itself). Serv1 is a very good machine, 2gb ram, 2 processors, etc but still it would be interesting to have any comments on the load put on the oscar server. Because in our case we can always use store as the server and serv1-9 as the clients and not including store as client himself. Any comments on this? Using OSCAR 5.1b2.
