Hi D. Brown,
could I ask you and /or the list how you have matlab configured and do
you have a small test file for Matlab to see if it all works. What I am
after is for a user to write their code and then submit it on OSCAR
using qsub as any other HPC job on OSCAR.
I can't get my head aroun that synta to use in the .m files for
jobscheduler etc. I have MDCE and 8 workers and Would like to get them
to work for my users.
Kind Regards,

Subject: [Oscar-users] Matlab & CentOS will not work together
All,
Kobayashi Maru, I spent weeks trying to get CentOS 4.6 to work
with Matlab...Doesn't seem to be a solution....
Switched to FC5, bam, all done. Works fine.
Running Mathworks Distributed Computing Server 3.3 on the
cluster...with parallel computing clients.
Also, of note,
I could never get the Sata node drives to work with CentOS, but
haven't yet had a problem with FC5.
OSCAR 5.0
FC5 64 bit.
