Hi,
Your DVD does not include all the rpms that OSCAR5b2 needs for Fedora 8.
That's why I asked for what you have on /tftpboot/distro/fedor-8-x86_64.url. 
(Sorry, my previous reply was saying fedora-9-x86_64.url instead)

Anyway, following is mine which includes everything for Fedora 8.

> file:/tftpboot/distro/fedora-8-x86_64
> http://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/linux/fedora/linux/releases/8/Everything/x86_64/os

As you may have noticed, the first line is generated by OSCAR and I added the 
second line to access remote distro repository.
Of course, if you have a close mirror server for the remote distro, please use 
it rather than mine.

Please let me know when you get the log file.
