Hi,I am having problems to install the head node (server node) for Oscar 5.0
with Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 64-bit AS server.The system configurations are
listed below:Hardware: HP DL145CPU: one AMD Opteron 2.2GHz dual core
processorRAM: 4GBOS: RHEL AS 4 update 6, 64 bitApplications installed: default
Redhat packages with httpd server, MySQL server and development packageThe same
system was working for Oscar 4.2 with both RHEL AS4 U4 and RHEL AS4 U6 without
any problem. Each time I started with fresh new OS and OSCAR install. To test
out OSCAR 5.0, I reload entire OS to repeat the same process to install OSCAR
5.0 and running into the current problems.The error message shows 'Could not
restart
systemimager-server-rsyncdat/opt/oscar/packages/sis/scripts/post_server_install
line 62'. Further examination discovers that there is another error message
'TransactionCheckError:
file/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/elementtree/ElementInclude.py from install
of elementtree-1.2a5_20031115-1 conflicts with file from package
python-elementtree-1.2.6-6.1ef' along with some other warnings.I don't know if
that is the root cause for OSCAR 5.0 installation to fail. I appreciate any
pointer to solve this issue. I set OSCAR_VERBOS=5, DEBUG_OSCAR_WIZARD=y and
DEBUG_UPDATE_RPMS=y and capture the oscarinstalltion.log. I have zipped the
log file and attached it to this email.Any help is very much appreciated.Wei
