issue resolved!

I found that for some reason ssh is not reaching authorized_keys2 - here 
is what I did.

I deleted authorized_keys in .ssh and created a sym link from 
authorized_keys -> authorized_keys2

All works perfectly now for my test user and my other users.

Does anyone see any issues in this?
