Hi, I’m installing a cluster using OSCAR 5.1 Beta and using Fedora Core 8.

I’m able to build and deploy images to the clients but now I want to add
other software (namely jdk 6 from sun and condor
(http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/)) to the images.

Currently I using this rpm’s

*jdk-6u10-linux-i586.rpm

* condor-7.0.5-linux-x86-glibc23-1.i386.rpm

I downloaded the corresponding rpm’s, copied the rpm’s to the
/tftpboot/distro/fedora-8-i386 directory and add the lines

jdk

condor

to the file that I’m using when creating the image.

After that I build the image and I get a successful message, but when I
browse the image directory I can’t see neither jdk or condor.

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Is it possible to do add software
to the image using this approach?

Thanks in advance,

Carlos
