Hi all, I discovered a strange problem in the combination of Oscar with the freenx server (CentOS 5.2). When I try to connect myself with via nxclient with the head node I get a black desktop with only one terminal fixed in upper left corner. The gnome desktop does not go through the ssh connction. However, when I put round parentheses () around the commands in /etc/profile.d/ssh_oscar.sh, i.e. executing them in a sub-shell as far as I know, the problem dissappears and I can normally connect to the nx server with a complete (gnome) desktop. Weird, isn't it?
