Hello, Trying to install OSCAR on Redhat EL 5.2, following the instruction on the website, I have got so far:
after "oscar-config --bootstrap", it gave errors: ...ERROR: Impossible to get the default repository for redhat-el- server-5-i386 ... ... I used "oscar-config --setup-distro redhat-el-5-i386" before this ( there is no "redhat-el-server-5-i386" in supported distros list). If I manually assign the "$distro" value in bootstrap.pm to "redhat- el", it went further, but stopped with these: ... yume is already installed, nothing to do. Pools to prepare for distro redhat-el-server-5-i386: [ ] Array: 0 element(s) Preparing pools: INFO: no repositories defined at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ OSCAR/PackageSmart.pm line 327. ERROR: Impossible to prepare pools for the local distro at /usr/bin/oscar-config line 209 ERROR: Impossible to complete stage 1 of the bootstrap. at /usr/bin/oscar-config line 209 Could anybody tell me how to make it detect mine system as redhat-el not redhat-el-server? ( I think it is the problem, although not sure). Thanks for any suggestions in advance!
