Hi Christophe,

We did not package OSCAR-6 for FC9, not yet. However, you should be able to
package the OSCAR core all by yourself, using the oscar-packager tool. However,
remember that:
- oscar-packager is still under development, only the packaging of the OSCAR
core should be working smoothly,
- I plan of releasing OSCAR-6.0.1 on Friday if i do not receive a critical bug
report, this is the current "unstable" version (code freeze period); that
version won't be perfect yet but thanks to the help from few users, we manage
to fix many bugs.

Let me know if you have any questions and/or remarks.

Regards,

PS: i did update the documentation few days ago but because of a mistake i did,
the update has been lost. Sorry about that, this is now fixed.

Objet: [Oscar-users] oscar 6.0 what is the status of fc9?

Hi,
I would like to know what is the status of oscar 6.0 for fc9.
There are repositories for fc9 but they don't contain the same packages
as in rhel ones.

Is it possible to port oscar to that distribution?
The documentation about porting oscar to new distribution
seems "broken" or incomplete :

svn co http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/pkgsrc pkgsrc

is not possible (see the error message below)

svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/pkgsrc'
svn: PROPFIND of '/pkgsrc': 405 Method Not Allowed
(http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org)

C. Trophime
