Michael is right, it tries to install the prereq in "dumb mode" while it is 
supposed to use the "smart mode" (so deal with dependencies). The problem is 
that it seems OSCAR tries to install everything at the same time so packman and 
yume are not yet available so the smart mode is not available.

OSCAR-6.x provides a new bootstrapping mechanism that fixes this issue but 
nobody did give it a try on openSUSE 10. If you want to do so, please let me 
know.

It is using a flat rpm command so it is not checking for further prerequisites. 
Try installing dhcp and run the install again.
