Antonio,

OSCAR is an abstraction for the management of a cluster. If you want to install
and configuration your cluster manually you can do it because in that specific
case you are not looking for any kind of abstraction. If you do not care about
the technical details and just want to have some work done as quickly as
possible, then an abstraction like OSCAR just make sense. :-)

My 2 cents,

Objet: Re: [Oscar-users] Oscar for parallel compilation tasks

Hi all,
I visited the Torque home page, and it seems to me that I could go with
Torque alone. Maybe someone can clarify a bit what is the role of OSCAR in
conjunction with Torque? Thanks in advance?
Antonio
