Hi All,
I have a question regarding getting matlab to work on oscar. I have an oscar
cluster working and it does all the cexec stuff, it also does parallel Ansys
CFX CFD processing and all the tests work. All 6 nodes have a shared file
system with the headnode. It all works (using ssh keyless login for all users
using LDAP and Active directory).
I have Matlab 2007b installed on the shared file system and I have 8 MDCE
worker licenses and the MDCE installed. I have downloaded and tried the
pbsParallelWrapper.sh files, but can't get my head around how to setup the qsub
job file to get the cluster nodes all to work together on a single problem.
I have been looking for a long time on the net for good examples that I could
use to get things started. I am trying to build some examples for my
environment to show my staff members so they can start using matlab in parallel
fashion or just even in serial fashion, but at least using pbs. I have found
example of just using MDCE and it's own job manager, but that seems to have
security issues and I can't see how to use Qsub to manage the job execution.
Any chance any of you that actually use Oscar, have some ideas how to get
Matlab to work. Mind you, I don't know matlab very well, I can get a montecarlo
script to work and that is about it...
Kind Regards,
