Hi!

I had a problem with Step 7 of the Oscar 5.1rc install a while ago, but got
someone (who knows much more than me) to help fix the problem. (It was with
torque and maui) When I am sure how they did it, I will try to post it in
the specific thread.

However, I installed VMware server 2.0 on the head node before the person
came to help me sort out the errors at step 7. After the errors were fixed I
couldn't get the oscar wizard to run (we had changed the hostnames in
/etc/hosts), but I "broke" the cluster (that is I changed the hostnames in
/etc/hosts) to get the wizard working again. When I tried to add a node,
there were PXE-E11:ARP timeout errors as well as a PXE-E38:TFTP cannot open
connection error. I uninstalled VMware, deleted the node, tried to add it
again, but on rebooting from the network I get PXE-E32 : TFTP open timeout
errors. The client gets its IP, but doesn't boot. I restarted dhcpd and did
/etc/init.d/xinetd restart. I also checked the following:

[r...@gnlserv01 etc]# chkconfig --list tftp
tftp on

[r...@gnlserv01 etc]# netstat -an | fgrep -w 69
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:69 0.0.0.0:*

Any ideas how I could fix this?

Thanks,

Rion
