Thanks for your reply. I'm still not sure about some concepts:

Is the "distribution repository" the source of where OSCAR generate client
image? If so, can I substituted it with the rpms from some other
distribution (e.g. Fedora Core) to make my compute nodes run on different OS
from the server node?
The reason why I ask so is because the SATA drive of my compute nodes can
not be recognized by CentOS 5.3. But Fedora Core 10 does.
