All, Good news: i managed to implement a fix. However, in order to have a clean solution, the fix is pretty intrusive. Therefore, i modified the roadmap and will push a new set of binary packages on the unstable repositories within few hours. It will be wonderful if different persons can test it since i only did basic testing on Ubuntu-9.04-x86_64.
I will send a message both on oscar-devel and oscar-user when the binary packages will be available.
