All,

Many users had issues with oscar-6.0.3, most of those issues have been
introduced because of a modification about how configuration data is stored.
My initial plan was to slowly make the transition between the old system and
the new one but obviously, it did not work out as planned.

So first of all, i would like to apologize about that, i clearly did not do a
good job on that specific point. Then, i actually implemented a fix for the
different reported issues: i did the full transition to the new storage method.
As a result, the modification is pretty intrusive but i really think that
needed to be done.

I just pushed new binary packages to the unstable repositories; binary packages
for the following distributions are available:
- Centos 5 (both i386 and x86_64),
- RHEL 5 (both i386 and x86_64),
- Debian 4 (both i386 and x86_64)
- Debian 5 (x86_64)
- Ubuntu 8.04 (both i386 and x86_64)
- Ubuntu 9.04 (x86_64) -- new supported distribution

>From there, any feedback is more than welcome. If you want to help, simply
>update your system and run the OSCAR command with the "--verbose" command and
>send me the logs if you see anything weird. Note that not everything is fixed
>yet (still have some buggy corner cases) but i was able to deploy a Ubuntu
>9.04 x86_64 cluster.

Finally, since those modifications were not initially planned, i changed the
roadmap. Typically, from now the code enters in a "freeze period", i will only
include bug fixes with the goal of releasing 6.0.4 as soon as possible.

Sorry again about those issues and again, any testing is more than welcome.

Best regards,
