Charo, For what i know, OPD is fairly limited with 5.1b2, for instance it will be almost impossible to use online repositories (this capability is one of the major difference between 6.0.x and 5.x).
Also note that the reported problems with OSCAR-6.0.3 should be fixed now, a new set of binary packages is now available via the "unstable" repository. If you want to give it another try, please, let me know the result of your test (and remember, i always do my best to fix as soon as possible problems if i can have the full logs).
