You can always try to package OSCAR for your distribution using oscar-packager.

For that, we may want to read the following documentation: 
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/DistroPort

Let me know if you have any questions, and also remember that i am pretty sure 
we can support debian-5 x86, just that i do not have the time to package OSCAR 
for all combination distro/architecture. So if you generate the binary 
packages, please let me know, we should try to put those binary packages on a 
official repository.
