Hi A few weeks ago I installed a Scientific Linux 5.5 cluster, but I was unable to finish all the compute nodes before I went on holiday. I now want to complete the installation but when I run:
oscar_wizard manage or oscar_wizard install I get the following error: Cleaning up oscarimage1-gv Verbosity: 0 ============================================================================= == oscar_wizard: Starting... ============================================================================= ERROR: The local distro is not setup, please run "oscar-config --setup-distro <distro_id>" first (see man oscar-config for more details at --/usr/bin/oscar_wizard line 229. ============================================================================= == oscar_wizard: Exit ============================================================================= I notice that there has been a maintenance release on 1st June and it looks like this got downloaded while I was away. The files in /etc/oscar now differ from what was there before my holiday. I have recovered these files from backup. Will putting my original files back in place be enough to resolve this problem or will there be other things I need to do? Any advice on how best to proceed is gratefully welcomed as I don't want to damage the install I already have.
