Hi Richard I always let the bios setup in the compute-node to use PXE boot, so after compute-node has finished to build, it will shutdown or reboot (this was our choice in the image build). The compute-node will communicate to image server and the last one will setup the next reboot will be on local disk. If you look at NetBootMgr windows after oscar installation, you will see all the compute-nodes with the state of the next reboot will be "local boot". In my case, after building one compute node, the NetBootMgr windows is empty. So I feel no communication return from compute-node to the image server. Thanks for your reply

The default boot setup of the node might be to boot from the network instead of its harddrive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard A. The issue is : After download the image to the compute-node, the installation is finished and the compute-node rebooted. Instead of booting from local disk, systemimager (si) continues to take the network boot (PXE boot) and the compute-node is looping in the installation process again and again. Does any people get the same issue and find out the solution?
