Olivier,
Thank you for your quick update this morning. This is to keep you informed
about my progress with OSCAR installation.
I've been working all day long to check and update my master node.
Operations that were performed:
- I updated the opkg-munge*, all opkg* and oscar* packages to the last
versions.
- I had some problems with the network interface eth0 that I fixed
manually.
I don't know why the network configuration for eth0 was odd (voodoo problem..
as you said) and the os was unable to bring it up.
OSCAR was refusing to proceed.
- The SIS pre- and post-install scripts were copied.
- I checked the SELinux which was enabled (voodoo again??) even if I am
sure I disabled it (it was disabled into the .conf file).
I rebooted the server just to make sure it is disabled at boot time..OK.
- I chose your test repo again as opkg-munge* packages were not available
on the official one (just to avoid error messages).
- The bootstrap operation was successfully and I even launched a
system-sanity which returned code 0 (previously was failing).
- I also updated the .master script before building the SIS image.
I am now building a new CentOS SIS image .. but I am again late (from the
bandwidth point of view).
However I did not have any timeout message yet. :)
I will let it run till tomorrow morning.
NOTE: I checked the dhcpd.conf and there is nothing added yet. I suppose the
.conf file shall be created during the node addition step.
The dhcpd service is failing to start but it must be becase of the dhcpd.conf
empty file.
Kind Regards,
Costel

Cool,
I've found a problem in the opkg-munge-* packages. I've just updated it.
(V1.0.3) Please use that if possible. If not, just before step 7 do a service
munge start on the head and on all nodes.
I'm currently checking that it's now ok. (it's a wired voodoo problem... munge
is one of the easiest thing to configure and the one that gave me most
problems... I need holidays ;-))
PS: don't forget to fix you /var/lib/systemimager/scripts/*.master line 190 if
it has been generated with pre 4.2.0-0.92 version.
Best regards,
Olivier.
