November was another record month on opensource.com with our highest traffic ever to the site: 287,532 page views.

The traffic for our "what is open source page?" is still cranking. We maintained the #1 position in search results for "What is open source?" beating out wikipedia. We've had over 11,000 page views to this resource for two months in a row and it was the #4 most visited page on the site.

The top article this month was an SELinux post by Dan Walsh. It performed very well on the site and was even translated and picked up by several other publications.

Another great post was an interview with Nellie Cruse, VP of the European Commission, by one of our community moderators, Robin Muilwijk who lives in the Netherlands.

We had a successful Google Hangout with our community moderators. Four out of six were able to attend. We launched the community moderator program in February with four volunteers and have grown it to six. We've recently recruited two more moderators bringing out total to eight and we continue to ask other community members to be more involved.
