G'Day opensource.com admins, I tried posting comments on an opensource.com article recently, and here are some problems I'd suggest fixing:
1. The "Preview" button does not work. I get "Temporarily Unavailable" and "We are aware of the issue and are working hard to fix it.". It's been that way for over a day. 2. New lines and formatting is stripped from comments, making them one giant paragraph. They should be retained. Without them, I can't separate paragraphs or make lists. 3. There is no edit or delete button. I was looking for one because of (2), and didn't notice until I submitted because of (1). I've now posted some comments that look like a mess with the new lines stripped[1]. Please delete my comments. It may seem minor, but it's a disappointing first experience of opensource.com. Imagine you posted an article to another site, and their software inserted minor grammatical errors (like stripping your Oxford commas), and then published it with your name on it, and there was no way to fix it. It would detract writers who picky (like me). Hopefully these issues are easily fixed. Thanks, Brendan [1] https://opensource.com/life/16/5/why-do-you-use-linux
