Slogans? Malaysia is good with slogans.... in fact it litters the surrounding, like the debris from a train wreck! They are often very ambitious in intent, perhaps hollow in sincerity, and often comes to little in implementation..
If "Malyasia's gift to the world", (which I havn't heard of b4), is for MSC, then it fits!. Slogans must reflect the real initiative, intent, resources and actions, else its hollow or the becomes mere 'marketing fluff'. The OSS community has quite a few slogans, but they all focus on the 'function' not the fluff - case in point "show me the code" ;-) but I'm a geek, what do I know about marketing? PS what happens when you give a gift no one wants?
