Well RI, i was inducted into this prosumer school of tot by none other than Alvin Toffler who coined that word, when he and Keniche Ohmae were advisors to Dr. M's grand plan, i was at BBMB (now merged 2 times over) where i downloaded and read the MAMPU whitepapers blueprints in 1996 on the MSC masterplan. Dr. M's thinking is not to buy anymore from outside, but resell back, with own value adding. Thus if we are to take FOSS seriously, it is our chance to truly value-add since FOSS by definition allows you to take over the source and run faster.
Also i am sick of harping on slogans of 12 yrs gone by. Today is 2009, not 1996. Today every1 digs FOSS. Today we kick big ass. No more 3rd world mentality. Enough!
