I like to rally a peaceful demonstration (permit will be applied to the police, and they better give it our else some political organisation to do it. Anyway police dont mind anything that is not pro-politics), at good public venue with press presence.
We can burn efigy of Proprietary License Rm4 billion price tag and proposal: 1. That the govt stop such loss by taxing proprietary software license collection with 1% which @4billion = RM40million. 2. That RM40 million be given to OSDC.my as public funds to do training, transfer of software ownership via Open Source projects and piloting success stories using FOSS. 3. A memoranda will be sent via cyberspace, youtube etc. Let the rakyat know. Is there anyone out there who are for this? Fight for our freedom or die as pathetic slaves.
