Yes, I think sitting here blasting at the screen won't change the colour of the grass on this side. So i decided to do this constantly to form a hackers club around ADempiere. The good news it that now we have the presence of Azrul who showed up last Saturday even though he has to teach Akido to kids at 3pm.
I have shown Azrul some bits of the codes, which i not being guru, he could mutter some words that impress me that he is at least much better at muttering Java. The ADempiere project is simple or hard depending on how you look at it. For a start lets do it simple. Azrul has his own GUI maker. We are trying to see how that can be stuck onto ADempiere model and make configuring AD even more intuitive - really drag and rite click for pop up properties rather than now just go thru different windows and tabs to do configs. I only got one problem. Who is going to feed my 'goat'? Grants? 20 days of form filling in? Pleaseeee! But for now our next class of coding will be on every Sunday (except during conventions). Saturdays are functional stuff to cater to non-technical students. Registration is optional ( i really dont want your money) to AeU at RM500 Masters registration but we hold off any installments cos of the goat is holding me back from being full time and guarantee the whole course. For a start i ask Azrul to upload his Gui somewhere in SF (his own project) and talk in the forums there on the program design and model interface.
