I am glad that my ignorance is correctly addressed. A friend of mine had some issues with BSD on a DELL server he bought specifically for serving web apps. Ended up running Centos.
He is pretty good with BSD and from that incident I drew my conclusions. It is actiually quite sad to see that while BSD is an excellent system, the community outreach to non-techies perhaps more work. All the best for the Beastie.....
