this is for every one to consider my team has had snippets of how-tos and guides on: 1. blogs 2. forums 3. project repo 4. e-mails
what we have now done starting from this year is to consolidate all those onto the company website blog (since the company pays for the team's salary) - so everything is in one place eventually, we will put the whole content for the user / admin / technical manual online just like how drupal does it for osdc.my, a more efficient approach is act like an aggregator with sections for guides, news, events, etc . and maybe by type of software. the oss communities / projects can then point this aggregrator to their respective feeds. publish once and get the information distributed over many sites for my team, since the software and the documentation is free - attracting people to our services (implementation, customisation, support, training) is our livelihood, and 1 way to attract them is for them to visit our website. creating links / content to point back to our website will be great.
