based on the input from osdc.my, we are also using firefox on the server as
part of an automated process to convert web pages into png images and email
it on weekly basis. like how some reporting engines can send out selected
reports on scheduled basis.

uses Xvfb or X virtual framebuffer is an X11 server that performs all
graphical operations in memory

captures content just like how a human would view it on a browser. even
javascript and flash based content gets converted nicely.
