many thanks again for the video. my thots is that it is like a community
network for clinical trials - awesome ! taking back and having access to
data on our healthcare back from the pharmaceutical and labrats.

i wanted to do something like this for addressing poverty in terengganu.
looking at factors that surrounds a poor family and not just a snapshot but
a 'story' across time. but i did not know how to explain or describe it.

so i started with a simple prototype called sistem kambing. i just needed an
engine that could record characteristics on a goat / person over a time
series. you know, something like baby's health card and some geneology.

the next stage is actually to start capturing externalities. this time
pushing the prototype a little further called sistem rumput. in this
prototype we could see how the weather affects the growth of the grass. in a
community context, externalities could be the availability / quality of
education / healthcare / etc

the prime minister's dept already has an ongoing project for data mining and
analysing poverty data. they are using speedminer a malaysian product.

since both of us are stuck with time. why dont we collaborate over blogs ?
if you find anything useful, just post a blog article, i will do the same.
maybe tag it 'analytics' ?
