Hi all, The Malaysian Government's premier annual OSS conference, “The Malaysian Government Open Source Software Conference” (MyGOSSCON 2010) will be staged for a fourth successive year from 2nd to 3rd of November 2010 at Putrajaya International Convention Centre, Putrajaya.
MyGOSSCON is organised by the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), an agency under the Prime Minister Department to enhance the quality of public service delivery through OSS and to intensify the development and implementation OSS. It also aims to strengthen collaboration with Businesses, Higher Education Institutions and OSS communities. The conference is themed “OSS - Innovation for National Transformation” aimed at providing a platform for decision makers, academia and IT practitioners to share, exchange and refresh ideas and information on real OSS examples, practical information and strategies. MyGOSSCON 2010 will feature the most spirited OSS competition events: 1. The first 36-Hour Open Source Web Application Development Contest 2. OSS Case Studies Awards (Open for submission now) 3.
