1. SAMS Teach Yourself Django in 24 hrs 2. Django's site tutorial
I'm normally wary of these 24hrs... books, but I have picked up this one and going thru it, it seems pretty good. Its reasonably paced, and doesn't treat you like an idiot. Also its structured so that you can skip things if you want to... WARNING, I am going thru it.... slowly, but never got to finish it because current projects/work keep popping up...;-( ...see for yrself in the bookshops...
