This might be not relevant anymore but 5 years ago my webhost - textdrive (now joyent) used mod_security on their freebsd server. It's really painful to create the exclude rules and I ended up disabling it. Having certain word in your http request might trigger it up, I can't remember any more what it is but something like this:-
