Oracle has contributed a lot to FOSS especially to the Linux kernel. Also comes to mind VirtualBox, NetBeans.
The re-branding, I can live with it, after all they did buy SUN; but I guess the most unsavoury part of it is how they treated OpenSolaris and MySQL. The law suits wont do them any good either.
