we've been using OOo all this while, but, for certain commercial purpose, need to use M$ Powerpoint still, due to incompatibility. However, please be informed that, as much as possible, I've converted those slides to PDF too, just to make sure we refrain from using that M$ Presentation software, and also no ciplak of idea can happen :)
