For example Sabily push to Debian. 2) The need for Localization. - Local contents in local distros. 3) We meet every 3 months for workshop like this. Next in May 2011. 4) Need to push more Org to support Mirrorring for Distros. we (our) -> participants of the workshop ------------ Detail Notes 1) Basyeer Linux - Sabily 1a) - Share us about Sabily Project - Sabily may base on Debian - We advice to base on Debian in development (Wheezy). This will making sure Sabily not far behind with latest version of software and patches. (Wheezy, after the the rubber toy penguin with a red bow tie in Toy Story 2) 1b) Jawi Sabily project will look into Jawi character and support in Sabily. Sharuzzaman do share the history of Jawi to be include in International Standard by SIRIM. We do have the standard MS1368. Most of our mirrors are dying ... We will email to OSCC MAMPU, UPM and MMU to get more answers (err me to email or contact them) 3) Pasukan Terjemahan The need to have central application to make the translation much more friendly and central Database. Sharuzzaman share with us the propose system (err its a long disscussion, Zaman will prepare a paperwork for this) 4) Eric Eric share us about Open Suse build services, that can build application in major distros, rpm or deb. https://build.opensuse.org/ This will help in contribution to any disto community. 5) Kage Share us the politics :) of Fedora community. Its BIGGGG and all handle by community. Love to have thats in our community. Fedora targeting documentation translation. 6) Arafat - FreeBSD and PCBSD Share the activity of PCBSD Malaysia. Its slow and need support from community. 7) Sniffit Share us about HackerspaceKL - Suggestion about other activities like developments and cooking (hahaha) HackerspaceKL need continue funding contribution. The place cost them RM1500 per month and other cost like electric and water bill and activities to run. Do join as member for RM50 per month only. 8) Cloud We disscuss about Cloud... Suggestion for private cloud (P2P) but - Internet Malaysia still costly. - Costly hardware ---- We discuss a lot of things. A lot for half day session. We are going to have next session in May.
