Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera semua, Thank you for the comments, suggestion, criticism and feedback regarding FiMOS over the past few months earlier. We (FiMOS) appreciate all your comments/feedbacks/suggestions and criticism and we constantly making changes for the better and moving forward to a bright new future.
Earlier on, when FiMOS was in final stage, i began compiling new kernel version 2.6.36.3 to reflect the changes for FiMOS production and thus reflect through screenshot which i posted on FiMOS Facebook group. Some of you guys were tagged to the picture of it and maybe i left out others due to which i don't know the Facebook ID the rest of it. As you all probably know that FiMOS based on Linux and for the first release, it's based on Ubuntu Lucid, which at the point of their release, using kernel 2.6.32 (DRM 2.6.33) . And to that, FiMOS is no longer uses kernel stock from that (2.6.32) since we already compiled a new one as per said above. Moments earlier on today, i've successfully repackage/recompile Gnome Network Manager 0.8.2 and Gnome Network Manager applet 0.8.2 (all GPL license intact and original source code intact - no changes made) . I'm sure you all know that default that were used in Lucid which is 0.8.2 . As i'm writing this post, i'm testing it out for any bugs that i could find for that specific app and right now it seems running fine without any problem. Hopefully it'll stay that way then. >From time to time, this will be my ultimate goal, to support our FiMOS user in terms of apps update and other related for that matters. I'm well aware that there's a lot of package to be updated, but this is the first step of a thousand more steps to be taken and i hope to get all the help i can for that matter.
