Is your wget broken? Or its configuration broken? Check this first. The hard way: Every time wget fails, load the archive manually with your browser instead and save it to the location where PTXdist expects it (usually src/ in your project directory, or the location you setup in the "ptxdist setup" command). PTXdist will then use this archive, instead of downloading it again. BTW: Very curious...
