One of the challenges is that there is maybe a file called rtl8712u.bin
which needs to go into /lib/firmware?

Well, the only rtl8712u.bin that I could find was in Debian packages and it
said the package was for "all". I assume "all" means all architectures, but
could not find any instructions on whether this file is needed and/or even
needs to be cross-compiled for the armv4t

There seem to be many other files that need to go into /etc/network and
after a day or two of Googling around, my head started to hurt!

Your reply to posts appeared in my hotmail account a day or so before
showing up on this list. But, we know there was a list problem.

No further action required.

Thanks,
Dave
