Hi Sascha, The swfmill.xml is a temp file the task creates so that swfmill has something to compile.
Try running the following on the command line swfmill simple D:\Authoring\Eclipse\swfmill.xml E:\Projects\Eclipse\org.as2lib.anttasksample\swf\bin\sample.swf The tasks have exception handling so you won't see the actual root error. Post this error if you it doesn't provide any answers for you.
