I believe just a little user-agent detection so the html page can be
served up to any search engines crawling the site. If it's a regular
user, they should be re-directed to the flash version and the html page
they were trying to hit should be passed to the swf so it can load it
for data.
Have you looked at the source code to see what the javascript was doing
yet? I haven't checked it out yet, but I saw Peter's presentation last
week at FlashForward and he mentioned something like the above.
