I was always sure that SWF version is almost ignored
The version info within the SWF file is used for branching in certain situations... if a feature used to work one way, but then acclaim forced that feature to grow into a different direction, then the newer Player is able to still play older content with fidelity by checking the file's version first.
The big, important, main concern with this Developers Public Beta is to make sure that all your existing content plays back to your satisfaction. This testing must be done before we commit to distributing this onto the machines of the general public. (Once it goes onto someone's desktop it's hard to pull it back!)
I'd suspect that the FAME workflow would uncover some authoring differences that others wouldn't find, so PLEASE IMMEDIATELY MAKE SURE YOUR EXISTING CONTENT WORKS ACCEPTABLY IN THIS NEW PLAYER, thanks in advance!
