In the meantime i switched back to my two screen windows setup because of a major problem: text rendering

The text on the linux screen looks very different from the text on the windows screen. This makes it hard to switch between screens, because my eyes/brain needs some time to get used to it. This gives me real headaches.

I tried some tips to achieve better results on the linux screen, but it seems to be more effort than i can spend at the moment. If you have any additional tips, please let me know.

Cheers,
Ralf.

Lately somebody posted about a fantastic tool, which allows to use
multiple computers with their own screen like one with multiple screens.
I just created a setup with a linux on one and my old windows on the
other computer and it seems to work perfectly.
The trick is, you only need one mouse and one keyboard. You can move the
mouse from one screen to the other. The computer with the mouse on it,
receives the keyboard. Absolutely marvelous.

Now i'm able to run most of my things, like E-Mail, Browser, Eclipse,
Mtasc, Ocaml on Linux, while the Windows Box is only needed to run Flash
and Photoshop. Great!
Cheers,
Ralf.
